Prayer Vigil
On May 1, 2005, we began a 24/7 vigil at St. James. Parishoners spent 10+ months praying to Mary for her intercession to save our Church. Although it concluded on March 6th 2006, participants feel that this experience has profoundly strengthened their faith and brought them closer to God.
St. James members are beginning a renewed prayer vigil effort. Although we are not occupying a church around the clock any more, 5 members are praying for 1 hour each day for guidance on our future as we look toward affiliation and finding a new permanent home for our parish.
